Privacy Policy – Inspiro Social

Inspiro Social is a social publishing and community management platform built on the Salesforce Platform and provided by INPW Technologies Private Limited (“InspiroWorks”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). The platform enables businesses to connect and manage their own authorized social media accounts through official integrations with supported social media platforms.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when customers use Inspiro Social.

1. About Inspiro Social

Inspiro Social enables businesses to:

  • Publish and schedule content across supported social media platforms;
  • Manage social publishing activities from a unified interface;
  • Monitor engagement relating to their own published content;
  • View analytics and reporting;
  • Respond to comments and messages through supported integrations.

Customers retain ownership and control of their connected social media accounts.

2. Customer Authorization

Customers connect their own social media accounts through the authorization mechanisms provided by the respective platforms, including OAuth where applicable.

Each customer:

  • Determines which accounts are connected to Inspiro Social;
  • Controls which users are authorized to access those accounts;
  • May revoke access at any time through the respective platform settings.

Customers may only access information associated with the accounts they have explicitly authorized.

Inspiro Social does not provide customers with access to information belonging to other customers or unrelated third parties.

3. Information We Process

To provide the requested functionality, Inspiro Social may process the following categories of information.

a. Customer Information

  • Name and contact details of customer administrators;
  • Business information voluntarily provided during onboarding or support interactions;
  • Platform configuration settings.

b. Social Publishing Information

  • Posts created, scheduled, or published through the platform;
  • Publishing status and associated timestamps.

c. Engagement Metrics

For content published through connected social media accounts, Inspiro Social may access engagement statistics made available through official APIs, including:

  • Number of likes or reactions;
  • Number of comments;
  • Number of shares or reposts;
  • Impressions and similar performance metrics.

These statistics are used solely to display engagement insights and reporting information to authorized customers.

4. LinkedIn Data Usage

Inspiro Social may access LinkedIn information only after explicit authorization by a LinkedIn member or LinkedIn Page administrator through LinkedIn’s official authorization process.

LinkedIn information is used solely to provide the functionality requested by the customer, including:

  • Publishing and scheduling LinkedIn content;
  • Monitoring engagement relating to customer-owned LinkedIn content;
  • Displaying engagement statistics and analytics;
  • Enabling customers to respond to interactions where supported by LinkedIn APIs.

InspiroWorks does not sell, rent, lease, transfer, or use LinkedIn information for unrelated advertising purposes.

InspiroWorks does not create independent marketing databases using LinkedIn information.

5. Facebook and Instagram Data Usage

Where customers connect Facebook Pages or Instagram Business Accounts, Inspiro Social may process information necessary to provide the requested functionality, including:

  • Publishing and scheduling content;
  • Monitoring engagement metrics;
  • Displaying analytics and reports;
  • Enabling customers to respond to comments and inbox conversations where supported by Meta APIs.

Such information is processed only in accordance with permissions granted by authorized users through Meta’s authorization mechanisms.

InspiroWorks does not sell, rent, lease, transfer, or use Facebook or Instagram information for unrelated advertising purposes.

InspiroWorks does not create independent marketing databases using Facebook or Instagram information.

6. Limited Retention of Social Interaction Data

Inspiro Social is designed primarily as a social publishing and community management interface.

The platform does not intentionally retain detailed information relating to individuals interacting with customer content.

Comments, messages, and other interactions may be retrieved in real time through authorized APIs to enable customers to view and respond to those interactions. Such information is processed only to facilitate the immediate functionality requested by the customer and is not intentionally stored within Salesforce or the Inspiro Social application database beyond what is reasonably necessary to support that functionality.

InspiroWorks does not maintain permanent records of commenter identities, build user profiles from social engagement activities, or create independent marketing databases using such interactions.

7. How We Use Information

Information processed through Inspiro Social is used solely to:

  • Publish and schedule customer content;
  • Display engagement statistics and analytics;
  • Enable authorized customers to manage social interactions;
  • Support customer communication through authorized integrations;
  • Maintain, improve, and secure the functionality of the platform;
  • Detect and prevent misuse of the service;
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

8. Third-Party Services

To provide our services, Inspiro Social utilizes official integrations and service providers, which may include:

  • LinkedIn;
  • Meta Platforms, including Facebook and Instagram;
  • Salesforce;
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers.

These third parties process information in accordance with their own privacy practices and applicable laws.

InspiroWorks does not sell personal information to third parties.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction.

These safeguards include:

  • Secure transmission using HTTPS/TLS encryption;
  • Secure handling of authentication credentials and access tokens;
  • Role-based access controls;
  • Restricted access to customer configuration information;
  • Logging and monitoring of platform activities.

While we take reasonable measures to protect information, no method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.

10. Data Retention

InspiroWorks retains only the information necessary to operate Inspiro Social and provide the requested services.

  • Published posts, publishing status, and platform configuration information may be retained for operational purposes.
  • Aggregated engagement statistics, such as counts of likes, reactions, comments, shares, reposts, impressions, and similar metrics, may be retained solely to support customer reporting and analytics.
  • Detailed interaction information retrieved through supported APIs for viewing or responding to comments and messages is not intentionally retained within Salesforce or the Inspiro Social application database after the interaction has been displayed or processed for the requested functionality.

Customers may revoke platform access through the respective social media platforms at any time.

11. User Rights

Subject to applicable laws, individuals may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information held by InspiroWorks;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of personal information, where applicable;
  • Withdraw previously granted permissions.

Customers may revoke social media access through the respective platform settings.

12. Children’s Privacy

Inspiro Social is intended for business use and is not directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page together with the revised Effective Date.

Continued use of Inspiro Social after such updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
